3BLACKDOT and Starburns Industries, the studio behind Rick & Morty, have teamed with a number of high-profile YouTube stars to produce Alpha Betas, an animated comedy described as “the comedic stylings of Rick & Morty meets Westworld.” The story follows an elite group of gamers who drop into the virtual realms of video games to fix potentially world-ending issues. In the world of the show, video games power the globe via a massive CIA program, which employs the four protagonists.

Top gaming stars are attached to the project, with Evan “VanossGaming” Fong, Marcel “BasicallyIdoWrk” Cunningham, Tyler “I AM WILDCAT” Wine and Brian “Terrorser” Hanby lending their voices to the show. Paget Brewster, Stephanie Beatriz, Chris Parnell, Brent Morin and John DiMaggio are also set to lend their voice talents.
